Amidst the projects.

A little update on CNY. As I said, CNY does not end until the 15th day. Haha! So finally some cell reunion steamboat lunch after service on that Sunday. So much fun laughter and MAHJONG! What's CNY without some mj right? ^^

 

 

Following that was a small housing visiting from uni happy pills. Wasn't able to get a date where everyone was available so here are the few! Chilled and had fun taking polaroid! ^^

 

Then you know it was time for serious work when Sundays afternoon are fully booked for projects. But of course there must be some enjoyment element amidst, so café was the place to go!

 

And of course after a whole afternoon of productive work, the night was a time for relaxation! The night was so good, the breeze, the skies, the girlfriends. Except that I still wasn't able to get my blades :\

 

 

And as for today, needless to say an afternoon of productive project time so the night was spent with the cell. Dinner then bible study. Been quite some time since we had sharing like that. :)

 

Yup, that's about how project period have been. Foreseeing more stress to fall in as dateline approaches as nothing seems concrete yet. I do hope everything will go well, in God's hands. :)

Yearly affair (CNY)

Chinese New Year 2014 was a amazing, filled with gatherings after gathers and as now still gonna have a few more Bai-nian to go! 

Beginning with uni reunion dinner! So glad it was full attendance not including the OGLs. Food was great, people were great. It was an awesome night where everyone just got together eat laugh have fun. Lou-hei and steamboat are the usuals for reunion dinner. Thank you everyone who contributed in every way, food, preparation and just making it happen. :) After dinner was K-session. Only some of us went but still i was fun! :)

Then CNY officially begin. Reunion dinner with the family on CNY eve at our place as usual. Just this year there were lesser members who came as those not present are overseas. But still our hearts are connected through technology! Text / Facetime. So heart warming. 

CNY Day 1 （初一）

As usual, new year new clothes! In total I got 3 new dresses and a romper. Happy girl is me! Anyway, first house visiting of the year is at "Dua-gu-gu"'s place where all the relatives from my Mum's side would gather at his house usually at late morning. Went together with 2nd sis and BIL, then lunched with just us then since that's the end of my Bai-nian schedule, me and parents decided to go catch a movie! :) And then it was homed for home cooked dinner. Sorry to say but it was the worst dinner to begin the year with. Mum just had to cook prawn soup with all the left over ingredients from steamboat the previous day. Can you imagine how strong the flavor of prawn there was. Honestly i had to force every mouth down. Terrible /: So that basically summed my CNY day 1.

 CNY Day 2 （初二）

Today was the day the 2nd sis comes back to mother-home （回娘家）. Home cook food for the 2nd sis. Joyce joined us too cause since she would be alone at home and so that she was able see the baby in erjie. Nothing better than home cooked food. Heart warming as usual :) 

CNY Day 3 （初三）

This was a Sunday so morning combined service at 9am started the day the lunched with part of the cell which we forgot to take photos together. After that was bai-nian with just the 3 of us. So much fun, so much cam-horing, definitely brings back memories, doing nothing but just spending time at each other's place. Chit-chat, enjoy cny snacks or just sit and enjoy the breeze. Perfect way to pass a lazy afternoon. At night we had each of our own plans, which for me was housing visiting at Pastor Wu's place with the parents. Dinner there prepared by Pastor Wu's wife with was so good.

CNY Day 4 （初四）

On this Monday, majority are still having their work- or school holidays, we just have to start lesson as usual. But that didn't stop me from having plans! A simple yet enjoyable lunch with the Liao and Tham family before going for my afternoon lesson. 

Then half way through lesson, we kinda had a last minute decision to go KC's place for bai-nian plus dinner. Dinner solely prepared by himself. Food was good but sadly I wasn't able to enjoy it well. Thanks to smart me drinking iced Starbucks coffee. I've no idea what got over me to have ordered that, even they were surprised that I actually got some thing cold. (FYI I usually have hot coffee instead cause cold ones upset my stomach even more) After dinner we played the drawing pass-the-message game. It was all just laughter all the way. Too joke! And that ends the day :)

So that sums up my CNY so far but it's definitely not the end cause there are 15 days on CNY in all to enjoy! Now is just too early to stop the fun house visiting!
