Off days so worth it

Love it how we have the same off day, how we support each other, how you find the importance of my existence in your life. Best-est of friend we are. So looking forward to our birthday stay-cation.

Side note, just a few more months and it's gonna be a year since I started working with CBG/IGC. Things' been good, met great people, growing strong and well. Working hard but still yearning for that affirmation that I'm doing well. Other than that, looking forward to the short get away (Puket)! Whee~

Good bye 2014 // Hello 2015

2014 have been another year of ups and downs, stepping into yet another stage of my life, experiencing a whole lot of new things. Ending the year with many celebrations with the usual gang and with new people I've met.

 

First of all, I'm thankful for the job I have now, the people I got to know and am working well with. It have not been an easy start but it definitely changed me much. With God's strength, I've learn to be a better person handling expectations. Thank God for awesome bosses and colleagues-turn-friends. Work would have been a chore if not for them.

 

Grew real close to a few whom gave me lots of advices along the way, helping me grow into being a better Supervisor. Thank God for them.

Not forgetting my second family. It has definitely been a tough year for us, but things happened that made us learn to love and cherish each other more, not taking each other for granted.

 

 

Another lesson learned this year, through time and when each of us gets busy with our own stages of life, friends come and go, but only those true to you will stay no matter what. Even with just a simple text of concern make a whole lot of differences. Not that we turn into enemies, but just time made us drift away. My choice, their choice, no one to blame.

 

My happy pills, enough said. When ever we gather, good food gathers too. Yumz!

 

Last and the most important, my Family. May God continue looking after us and let this bundle of joy grow in god's love.

 

With this, good bye 2014 you've taught me many life lessons, and hello 2015 let's be good to each other.

Not the usual Christmas

Cheers to new faces on my blog. Really thankful for being able to join and help build this team of amazing was-colleagues-now-friends. Understanding each other more and more knowing our yes and no, good and bad, strength and weaknesses. An amazing journey this last part of the year I've been through.

 

So anyway, this year was also the first Christmas eve not spent in church. Rather, it was spent at work and supper after that with the crazy bunch.

 

Christmas day itself had morning service as usual, that don't change. After that had a simple family lunch over fast food. Dinner was a last minuet decision base on votes between pasta and steamboat and of course the family fav steamboat won.

 

So glad the girlfriend decided to join us too and yes of course she's just like part of my family.

It's been awhile

It's been a pretty long while since I last updated a post. Been really busy with work especially ever since I got confirmed. Not really that much work load but more of the responsibilities that comes along that is slowly stressing me out. Got words from Boss that they safely put SF in me and fellow supervisor's hands cause we can basically self run the daily operations without much of the Bosses worry.

Off day; Grow fat day

What a fun filled day with few of the happy pills! Lunched at La Ristrettos at novena, dessert and more dessert! Hehehe~

 

 

Walked, shopped, talked. Then randomly went to tried this dessert recommended by KC. Matcha lava cake with Yuzu gelato. It was so good but would recommend to be shared by at least 2.

 

Later in the evening, met up with the ex-colleagues. Been months since I last met them. Catch-up, talked, and updated about each other with the accompany of Korea BBQ! Hehehe. Would definitely go back for more. YUMZ.

 

 

Happy pills // Convocation2014

Enough said about my happy pills. Every single on of them made it possible for my uni life to be so exciting. Of course there's a few whom I'm closer with but that doesn't mean the rest don't make a different. It's all the part and parcel of life, knowing different types of people, maintain friendships. I really truly from the bottom of my heart wish that we all would pass the 7year friendship mark. All of you mean so much to me that I cant bare to lose contact with you all.

 

I had groups of friends from primary and secondary but then I didn't know the importance of keep in contact, but now I know and I feel the need. Loving everyone of them, caring for them, knowing I'll be there for them, and knowing they'll be there for me too. From the first day of uni orientation camp, OG10, graduating despite not the full force graduating together (plus 4 other who joined along the way) but we all came as one. Much Love.

I'M OFFICIALL A GRADUATE! YAY!

 

Here's a post dedication to the few individuals who have made it all possible for me to pull it through my uni life.

 

My dearest Chingu, both of us never expected that we would grow so close to eat other. Starting with our common love for KPOP till now talking about literally anything and everything there could be. So thankful for God to have placed you in my life, sharing with each other our life stories and encouraging each other with God's words. And not forgetting the many kisses we blew hugs we shared, the times I was so lost and desperate that I just needed a shoulder to cry on, you were there for me. You mean so much to me.

 

 

My dearest dearest, thank you for always being so confidently sure in me, always giving me words of confirmation which really mean a lot to me. It helped build much faith in myself, letting me learn to love the way I am made, how I am, a confident person. All the love you showered on me is only from one who loves God just as much. Glad to have you, my other pillar in uni, you've seen my ups and downs, I'll be there for you, just the way how you've been there for me.

 

 To the first guy friend whom I've been so close with, thank you for all the advices, encouragements, and annoyingness, the late night talking that knock sense into me when I was in my own dark corner (not literally). Please love yourself more too, knowing how busy you are right now and hardly have any time for yourself. Don't over stress yourself and I'm just a text away if you need someone to annoy you, a break from your serious work, in reminder for yourself of the same annoyance level you are at too. HA!

 

Cheers to you Jia, a dear friend in the same industry whom we have passed the 7 year mark of friendship. You're just like another older sister taking care of me. You really seen me through the turning points of my life, from how childish and immature I was to the person I am right now. You've seen my best, you've seen me grow. Feels so comforting to know that I'm working with you, it just makes everything so much better, so much endurable. Much love.

 

 To the buddy that I never knew one could have so many in common with, I'm so thankful for you. Even though we've only known each other for 1.5 years, but everything just feels so different with you around. You know me well, I don't have to say a word for you to understand. Thank you for always caring for me when I need, giving me the attention when I'm being childish, going crazy together at all our party nights. Awesome.

 

To the minion who brought so much joy, you're like so much much packed in one small small. All our small talks on our long way home, my cabby buddy. Matured young lady I would confine to when I have troubles, yet you still have the child in you who likes to annoy everyone not the irritating kind but those funny memorial ones. Please stay like this always and don't loss your cheeriness that everyone loves. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! :)

And this last part is dedicated to the most important two in my life, the two who made me possible.

 

I may not have been the smartest, brightest, or the most hardworking one. Still I made it through my basic studies, 2 diploma and a degree by hook or crook but definitely not by cheating. Learning all the technical skills that would help secure my future, and not forgetting the life lessons from you two ever since I was born. The last part of my studying journey (this diploma to degree) have not been easy but it made us all grew even closer, interdependent. With much love, I thank God for giving Daddy the ability and capability to support me (and the family) through out financially. Now it's time for you two to slowly depend on me, I will do my very best (with strength for our Heavenly Father) to provide for you two.

 

 

 

And also thank you two for making the effort to come down to visit my work place. Glad you enjoyed the dessert! :)

O lvls, 2 diploma, and a degree.

 

Updates in awhile

Been super long since I last updated a post. Got myself a full time job and thus too busy to even have any time to sit down infront of my lappy and type. Been working for a month-ish coming to 2 months already. Work's been good so far, good boss good environment, area for me to do well at what I am skilled at. Thank God for providence in landing me in this job, once again the story of how I got my job is a testimony itself. Glory to God.

 

Dajie came back and went back within these 2 months. Wasn't easy getting used to the new job at the same time coming home handing her PLUS how the happy pills get closer and slight unhappiness would have happen as we grew closer. Handling all these 3 things together wasn't easy but with God's strength I pulled it through.

 

Now, going into the last wee of August, is the coming of my convocation day. Excited and at the same time an official closing to my uni life. Short update and that's about it. Random photos within these 2 months, more to come after my convocation. Doing a grad photo shoot with the happy pills and am definitely looking forward to it much.

BLADING SESSION!

Finally bought my new blades today! Thanks to GSS I got it at a good deal I say! Good bye to the waiting for almost a year, blading days are back again. No more 小红， welcoming 小陈! Oh, and new addition to the blading gang. Never knew the Koh brothers were so on cause it was a last minute decision to go all the way to ECP. Felt so free finally after so long but still need some time before I get season into my new blades. More blading sessions to come before I found work cause by then I doubt I'll have much time to do so.
