Last week, friends from school came over cause she wanted to bake rainbow cupcakes for her friend's birthday. So agreed and let them come over. First time doing rainbow ones cause never liked the idea of putting coloring, but i didnt expect that soooo much coloring is needed to mix the colors! OH MY GOODNESS! I almost fainted following the amount of coloring to be add in. Look at the picture, does it even look like pastry batter to you?!?! Doesn't it look just like paint colors? o.o
Anyway, turned out good and she was happy with it. Decorated and this was the final product. But still the colors turns me off. Sorry~
Final product; Rainbow cupcake with salted caramel frosting |
Right, talking about the caramel, it is sooooo gooood! First attemp on cooking my own salted caramel sauce and it turn out well! I concluded that it turn out wonderful thanks to the sea salt specially bought from Isreal. Dead sea salt. GOOD STUFFS! I'm a person who will go as far as possiable to use natural ingredents, instead of things like pre-mix, coloring etc. I make pastry for taste~ Sounds high standard? Yes, I am.
So I had more time to complete my projects since would be busy with something else tml and monday. Both days for my girlfriend's wedding preparations.
Anyway, dinner with the birthday girl tonight. Advance few hours birthday celebration/meet-up/catching-up/dinner. Haha. We enjoyed our night! :D Photos time.
