A well deserved break

A trip that better forged our friendship, a well deserved break from work itself. A trip filled with ups and downs but at the end of the day it all went well.

The fight over to Phuket was filled with crying toddlers and panicking Mums trying all ways to calm their child down. Followed by a welcome gift we found by the bed, thousands of bedbugs waiting to begin life. Boy was it a terror, more than just a shiver down the spine. Nevertheless, God's providence, we got a good deal at a resort nearer to the beach and street shops for night entertainment. What a long day we had and both of us knocked out within minutes our heads rested on the soft pillow.

Following day was no lesser than happening. First experience of sunning by the beach flaunting my gifts from God, but got too excited and forgot about sunblock. But what's a beach holiday without any sunburns? The Singaporean us being slaves to our phones came of good use when a young boy injured himself by the beach. Google translate connected those in need of help and those trying to help.

What's a holiday without shopping? So we did, on the last day explored the town part oh the island and surprised I am that there's quite a cafe trend there too! The rest of the day was spent sharing more about each other, our downs and ups, sadness and happiness, regrets and hope.

Never did I thought I'll gain such a friend in common as strong headed and career focused. I thank God for you.
